Oakmoor® treats are all natural with no artificial colourings, flavours or preservatives. They don’t contain grain, which means they have none of the the fibrous corn and wheat-based ingredients which dogs find difficult to digest.

Oakmoor® treats are manufactured in the South Downs National Park by one of the UK’s only specialist pet treat manufacturers.

Oakmoor® treats are soft-baked and cooked by hand with each batch individually inspected for quality and consistency. Nothing leaves the factory unless we’re 100 per cent happy that everything’s just right.

Our commitment to minimising our environmental footprint isn’t about symbolic gestures and statements. It’s about our product and the way it’s baked.
We’ve gone much further than simply making sure our packaging is fully recyclable.
Firstly, we’ve invested in ensuring that our baking process is as energy efficient as possible. Traditional baking can be a carbon-intensive business so all our treats are baked in modern carbon neutral wood-fired ovens which, unlike conventional ovens, run on biomass pellets. These are made of reconstituted waste wood from other industries, such as sawmills, which has been treated to reduce its moisture content. When used in high-efficiency wood pellet ovens like ours, the combustion efficiency of biomass pellets is up to 85 per cent, far higher than traditional sources of energy.
Secondly, all the organic waste from our bakery is processed by anaerobic digestors to produce biogas for energy or fertilizer, so nothing is really wasted.

At Oakmoor® we don’t see why dog owners should have to accept a trade-off between quality and price.
Because we’re treat experts, we’ve been able to develop recipes that contain only what dogs really need and done away with everything else. This has allowed us to buy the very best ingredients. It’s also allowed us to increase the meat content of our treats.
